The Lochrian Ensemble are looking forward to being involved in the collaboration and recording of four songs by Leo Ferre – poet, composer, singer and musician, a prominent figure in the world of French Song and considered to be one of the greatest composers and writers of French Songs. We are also excited to be meeting Pete Hawkins who will be singing the songs for inclusion on his forthcoming CD and Jonathan Palmer who has orchestrated the songs for string quartet, double bass and piano.
