Having just seen and thoroughly enjoyed the new stage production of ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’ in London this week I have chosen the wistful song ‘Pure Imagination’ as my music piece of the week. It was lovely that this lyrical song, from the original film, was included in the show. If you have fond memories of this timeless Roald Dahl story then why not have this tune played by a string quartet at your wedding? Alternatively The Lochrian Ensemble have many other arrangements of film and stage classics: often these pieces of music trigger special memories or remind you of particular people or places.
