We were honoured to play at Jannica and Sean’s wedding on Monday at Coombe Lodge. The beautiful weather enabled us to play outside and lots of guests were complimentary about our playing. One guest requested we play ‘Yesterday’ extoling the virtues of the violin solo in Frank Sinatra’s version. Of course, we were very happy to oblige but admit the four of us were only familiar with the Beatles version. Here’s a blast of Sinatra along with the aforementioned violin solo which does indeed add a wonderful quality to the number.
