My Wedding Music Piece of the week is for all those opera lovers out there. It’s the beautiful ‘Humming Chorus’ from Puccini’s Opera ‘Madame Butterfly’.
The Lochrian Ensemble has some lovely operatic arias arranged for string quartet and we are often asked to play these arrangements by brides and grooms either for the signing of the register or as part of the music before the Wedding ceremony. Wherever you choose to play Puccini his music remains sublime – have a listen to the following youtube clip and see what you think!
