Wedding Music Tip of the Week

Pachelbel’s Canon is a popular piece, chosen by many couples for use in different parts of their ceremony.

If you wish to use it for your Processional, in many venues this will mean that very little of the piece is heard in the time it takes the bride to arrive at the Altar/Registrar.

In order to maximise the affect of your Processional and to enable more of Pachelbel’s Canon to be heard, you could consider asking other members of your bridal party to walk down the aisle before the bride.  This could include the mother of the bride with an escort along with the bridesmaids/page boys.  Not only will the level of anticipation be increased for your guests (and of course the groom!) but a more suitably climatic part of the music will be reached furthering the sense of occasion.
