Wedding Music Piece of the Week

Having just gone to see the wonderful production of Dance ‘Til Dawn starring Vincent Simone  and Flavia Cacace of Strictly Come Dancing fame, my music piece of the week has got to be a piece composed during the Golden Age of Hollywood.  Max Steiner sometimes referred to as the’ father of film music ‘ composed the score to ‘Gone with the Wind’ which is  widely considered to be one of the most successful films in the history of cinema. The Lochrian Ensemble has a gorgeous string quartet arrangement of the main love theme ‘Tara’s Theme’, so if you are a film buff or you would like a fabulous arrangement of some wonderful film music for your wedding have a listen to this clip of the original film; there won’t be a dry eye in the house!
