With St Patrick’s Day being celebrated today together with Ireland’s Win in the Six Nations, my Wedding music piece of the week has to celebrate all things Irish. I heard this sublime tune ‘Home Away from Home’ on the radio; the composer is the Irish musician and songwriter Phil Coulter who collaborated with the golden flautist himself, James Galway. This piece is simply beautiful and if you are either a lover of folk music, especially Irish tunes, or want to add an Irish element to your wedding, consider having this wonderful tune played either in the wedding ceremony or as part of a selection of Irish tunes for the wedding reception.
