Wedding Music Tip of the Week

Ensure appropriate protection for your musicians when they are expected to play outside

We were privileged to play at Sarah and James’s wedding at the stunning venue that is Old Down Manor, Tockington yesterday.  We had glorious weather and were able to play inside with the floor to ceiling windows open so that our music could be heard by both the guests outside and those in the piano room beyond us.

With better weather finally here then, it is a timely reminder that if you have booked live musicians for your wedding and are planning to be outside for any part of your celebrations, certain considerations need to be made.  These musicians (and more importantly their instruments) need protection from the sunshine so a shaded or covered area or a gazebo will be required.
